Andover High School student participates in 2026 House of Representatives High School Page Program

Andover High School junior Kenzy Johnson was selected to participate in the 2026 Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program.

The High School Page Program was established in 1975 and provides students with a unique, challenging and enriching hands-on experience in state government. During their week in St. Paul, students are engaged in a variety of activities such as assisting members of the House of Representatives and legislative staff, attend committee hearings and observe the legislative process.

Students also have the opportunity to become acquainted with their local representative, serve as a page on the House floor, and participate in mock committee meetings to help students understand how legislators research issues, engage in thoughtful discussion and debate, and address public policy topics.

For more than 50 years, the Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program has provided Minnesota students with a unique and meaningful opportunity to develop civic awareness, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of representative democracy.
